This year's Veterans Day ceremonies will be different. Instead of convening veterans to visit all of the town's war memorials, the Framingham Veterans Council will hold two ceremonies at Cushing Memorial Park, which has entrances on Dudley Road and Winter Street. In the first ceremony, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, veterans will meet in the Cushing Memorial Chapel's parking lot, then move to the Cushing General Hospital Memorial, where Cub Scouts will lead a flag ceremony to be followed by a wreath-laying.
