A search prompted by a bomb threat at a U.S. Army base in Utah has ended with an FBI spokeswoman saying agents have not turned up anything suspicious. FBI spokeswoman Debbie Dujanovic Bertram says the search with bomb-sniffing dogs ended late Monday, about six hours after the threat halted construction of a National Security Agency data center at Camp Williams and the site was evacuated. Construction will resume Tuesday. The FBI says it isn't concluding that the bomb threat was a hoax, only that agents found nothing.

NEW ORLEANS - Undefeated, and uninvited. Led by Brian Johnson and a swarming defense, No. 7 Utah completed its perfect season by upsetting fourth-ranked Alabama, 31-17, in the Sugar Bowl last night. After piling up wins in the Mountain West Conference against a schedule deemed soft, the Utes (13-0) were left out of the BCS national championship game in favor of perennial powers Florida and Oklahoma, even though both have one loss. But at the Sugar Bowl, Utah showed it could do more than just hang with the big boys, it could dominate one of them.

Rhee Braby shot the video from his Bountiful home, about 10 miles north of Salt Lake City. He says neighbors were even perched at the top of the road Saturday, warning drivers not to attempt the hill, but many continued on and lost control. One car even crashed into a snowplow. Between crashes, the 34-year-old says he helped push cars back onto the road only to see another come sliding down behind it. The Utah...

BLUFF— Just south of the monumental face of Cedar Mesa, a series of multi-story sandstone statues rises abruptly out of the desert. Locals call these cliffs and monoliths the Valley of the Gods. When my fiance, Andrew, and I drove through at sunset one November evening, the name seemed fitting. The slanted light turned the sandstone buttes into a thousand shifting hues of pink and purple, and the flat valley floor seemed to stretch forever. The road was even more spectacular as we wound up an oxbowed road to the top of the mesa and the sunlight drained from the sky. When we...
