We haven't been able to figure out who's playing the Celtics mascot, Lucky, these days, and this photo certainly doesn't help. Regardless, Lucky - whoever he is - stopped by the Healthy Family Expo at Sky Zone Everett on Sunday. Proceeds from the day at the indoor trampoline park benefited GoKids Boston, a program run by the UMass-Boston College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Yankees reliever Joba Chamberlain dislocated his right ankle while playing with his son at a local spot that had a trampoline, jeopardizing his immediate future after yet another odd misstep for New York's bullpen at spring training. There was no timetable for Chamberlain's return. The team did not say whether the 26-year-old pitcher was using the trampoline equipment when he was injured Thursday. The accident at a play area came two weeks after All-Star setup man David Robertson hurt himself moving boxes at home.

WAUREGAN, Conn. - "Through these doors walk some of the best trampolinists in the world," reads the sign over the entrance to The Trampoline Place. But as the shouts of children and the sight of small, bouncing bodies attest, being a world-class trampolinist is not a requirement for entering this all-trampoline gym. This Friday evening, a private birthday party is winding down before the gym opens to the public. Dance music booms. On 10 Olympic-size trampolines, about a dozen children, average age 7, jump with focused concentration.

STOWE, Vt. -- Sweat pours from my face as I squeeze through a narrow chasm of rock, looking for the next tree root to grasp and haul my body upward. My feet dangle helplessly as they try to find traction on the slippery surface. I finally make it to semi-level ground and look across at the sharp cliffs carved out of Smugglers' Notch. We're slowly making headway on the Hell Brook Trail. It has been eight years since I last tackled Vermont's highest peak, Mount Mansfield. I remember it being a steep but steady ascent, a formidable challenge but certainly no rite-of-passage climb like mighty...
