Days after state environmental officials found unacceptable noise levels from wind turbines in Falmouth, they are considering new regulations that would require the state to review potential noise issues before wind turbines are built in Massachusetts. The state might also conduct sound studies in other communities, such as Fairhaven and Kingston, where residents, as in Falmouth, have complained about newly installed turbines, officials said. NEWTON - Dan Kennedy will graduate from Boston College on Monday, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and the recipient of the school's most prestigious prize, the Edward H. Finnegan Award. Winners of the Finnegan, given to the student who best exemplifies the BC motto, "ever to excel," tend to go big - top grad schools, Wall Street, overseas fellowships. Kennedy is planning to give away his computer, recycle his Blackberry, and move to a modest communal house in St. Paul, Minn.

(The food was free, but they paid for their own drinks.) Thursday, the reopening is official. "So many people have come up and said, 'We're so happy to have you back,'" says chef Todd English. But don't expect English and crew to be serving the kind of Big Food pictured above, the way Olives served customers circa 1996.

An evening of jazz comes to the Raynham Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday as part of Raynham Reads 2012. "A Night to Remember," hosted by the Friends of the Raynham Library, will feature music by the Barn Goats, light appetizers, desserts, and nonalcoholic beverages. Tickets - $5 for Friends members and $7 for nonmembers - are available in advance at the library and at the door the night of the event. Parking will be available in the library lot and at First Congregational Church across the street.

TBILISI, Georgia -- Laura Bush says the people of Georgia gave her a memorable gift -- a rare night out on the town with her husband. The famously homebound couple got a hearty welcome here, complete with acrobatic dancers, fireworks, and streets lined with cheering crowds. They were awe-struck by the hospitality, she said. "George said last night, 'Seldom do we have a night like that. We really got to have fun, stay in the downtown, go to a restaurant,' " Mrs. Bush said. "The dancing was unbelievable.
