Charles Jenkins had 24 points and nine assists while playing all 48 minutes to rally the Golden State Warriors from a 21-point deficit to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 93-88, on Sunday night. Brandon Rush scored 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and also grabbed nine rebounds. Klay Thompson scored 17 points for the Warriors, who snapped an eight-game losing streak. Kevin Love had 30 points and 18 rebounds to help the Minnesota Timberwolves hand the Charlotte Bobcats their 16th loss in a row, 102-90 on Wednesday night. Nikola Pekovic added 21 points and 11 rebounds in 43 minutes for Minnesota. The Timberwolves snapped a four-game skid of their own. Kemba Walker had 21 points and six rebounds, and Corey Maggette scored 18 points for the Bobcats, who have lost 22 of the last 23 games. D.J. Augustin played for the first time in 12 games, but his return wasn't enough to lift Charlotte out of the worst losing streak in franchise history.

Nikola Pekovic scored 23 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves ended an 11-game losing streak with a 91-80 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night. The Timberwolves never trailed and took a 49-31 halftime lead after shooting 57 percent (21 of 37) from the field. An 8-0 run pushed the lead to over 20 points midway through the third quarter but the Pistons rallied in the fourth to make it close. Tayshaun Prince had 18 points to lead to lead Detroit, which lost for the second time in as many nights.

A big ad on the side of the Minnesota Timberwolves' arena that couldn't be missed from the Twins' ballpark is coming down. But now it's up to Target Corp. to decide what will replace the ad for Dakotas-based Sanford Health. When Target Corp. renewed naming rights to the Timberwolves arena in September, the retailer also gained access to that space. The ad that's on the side of Target Center drew criticism from the Twins and civic leaders when it appeared last year — just in time for the Twins' playoff games.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade was in the starting lineup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night after being considered a game-time decision with a sore left foot. Wade tested his foot both at the team's morning shootaround and before the game to determine if he was ready to play. The injury bothered him in the game at Charlotte on Wednesday, but not enough to prevent him from making the game-winning shot to keep the Heat undefeated. For the Timberwolves, veteran guard J.J. Barea missed the game with a strained right hamstring.

By Gary Washburn, Globe staff As the NBPA or that NBA players trade association announced tonight that they have moved the California antitrust lawsuit to Minnesota with the other they filed, Celtics guard Rajon Rondo was added as one of the plaintiffs, joining players such as Baron Davis, former Celtic Leon Powe, Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Derrick Williams and ex-Celtic Sebastian Telfair. NBA players legal representative David Boies was pressed by reporters as to why there has been no contact between their legal team and the NBA's team about a possible settlement.

Danny Granger scored 29 of his 36 points in the second half to help the Indiana Pacers blow by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 109-99, on Wednesday night. Granger also grabbed seven rebounds and hit 5 of 8 from 3-point range, and Darren Collison thoroughly out-played Ricky Rubio with 20 points, nine assists and six rebounds for the Pacers, who topped 100 points for just the second time this season. Kevin Love had 21 points and 17 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who were completely overwhelmed by Indiana's size and Granger's offensive prowess.

Marcus Thornton scored 24 points and the Sacramento Kings used a strong second half to beat the slumping Minnesota Timberwolves 115-99 on Sunday night. The Kings were tied at halftime, but gained the lead for good by outscoring Minnesota 33-25 in the third quarter. Sacramento quickly built on its eight-point lead after three quarters and the Timberwolves trailed by double digits for much of the fourth. Isaiah Thomas scored 18 points, John Salmons added 15 and Jason Thompson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings.

Tim Duncan had 21 points and 15 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-100 on Wednesday night despite playing most of the game without All-Star guard Tony Parker. Stephen Jackson and Gary Neal each scored 16 points for the Spurs (30-14), who won their fourth straight game and fifth in their last six. Parker left with tightness in his left hamstring with 8:03 remaining in the first half. He spoke briefly with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich before heading to the locker room with two points and six assists.

Arron Afflalo hit a tiebreaking floater in the lane with 33.7 seconds remaining in overtime and reserve Al Harrington scored a season-high 31 points as the short-handed Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-101 Monday night. Afflalo spun past defender Luke Ridnour and swished his shot to put Denver ahead. From there, the Nuggets closed the game out at the line and snapped a three-game skid.
