Mike Cammalleri had a goal and two assists and the Calgary Flames used a four-goal second period for a 5-4 win over the Dallas Stars on Monday night. The Flames came into the game struggling offensively with six goals in their previous five games, but broke out with four goals over the final 11 minutes of the second period to overcome a 2-1 deficit. Alex Ovechkin had a goal and a career-high four assists, Mike Knuble scored twice, and the Washington Capitals got 28 saves from Jose Theodore in a 6-1 home victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. The five points were a season high for Ovechkin.
