WASHINGTON (AP) — LOL. Hillary Rodham Clinton has a tech-savvy sense of humor, and she wants you to know it. The secretary of state is firmly embracing an Internet parody that purports to show her texting various politicians and celebrities, shooting them down with snappy retorts. Clinton invited the creators of the ‘‘Texts from Hillary" Tumblr website to the State Department on Tuesday and shared a laugh with them. And, she even submitted her own fake exchange. The site has become an Internet sensation since it was launched last week.

CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif. - Hillary Clinton wanted to talk about the economy. A voter in the audience wanted to talk marriage. After wrapping up a speech outlining her economic stimulus proposal, the New York senator took questions from the crowd. The first question from one man was: "Hillary, marry me, baby. " The packed union hall loved it and applauded. Clinton smiled and told the man, gently, no. "That is certainly the kindest offer I've had in a while," she said to laughter. She quickly added, "I'd probably be arrested.

INDIANAPOLIS - Chelsea Clinton is spending long days on the campaign trail telling college crowds about her mother's positions on issues, including healthcare, student loan costs, the Darfur crisis, and gay rights. But there is one subject she will not discuss: "The Other Woman. CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire officials agreed yesterday to conduct complete hand recounts of Tuesday's Democratic and Republican presidential primaries. Representative Dennis Kucinich, who received less than 2 percent of the Democratic vote, and Albert Howard of Michigan, who received about 40 votes in the GOP primary, each paid a $2,000 fee to start the process, officials said. Both candidates agreed in writing to pay the full cost of the recounts, Secretary of State William Gardner said.

Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota on Thursday became the latest former rival to endorse presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney. Four months after ending her own bid for the White House, Bachmann joined Romney at an afternoon campaign event in Portsmouth, Va., where she called him "a man who will preserve the American dream of prosperity and liberty.
