By Zuri Berry, Globe Staff FOXBOROUGH -- Greetings and Happy New Year's from Gillette Stadium as the Patriots (12-3) get ready to host the Buffalo Bills (6-9) in their final regular season game. With a win or tie over the Bills, the Patriots will clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC. After last week's win over the Miami Dolphins, 27-24, the Patriots clinched a first-round playoff bye. By the end of the day, the Patriots will know which teams it will possibly play after the wildcard round.

FOXBOROUGH - It was the big play that preceded probably the biggest play during the Patriots' comeback from a surprising 17-point halftime deficit yesterday. By Steve Silva, Globe Staff PHILADELPHIA -- We're getting ready for some Patriots-Eagles football here at Lincoln Financial Field. It's a balmy 62 degrees at the Linc, this morning's sunny skies have turned overcast. It's been a gorgeous, unseasonably warm weekend in the City of Brotherly Love. Patriots fans were popping up all around Philly and the autograph hounds were camped outside of the Patriots hotel last night looking for signatures. Philly fans, and a few Patriots diehards, were already winding up the tailgate scene at 11:30 this morning outside the sports complex.
