On the plane ride home from Indiana, Miami guard Dwyane Wade was watching a LeBron James highlight tape. It was otherwise known as Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Heat were still marveling Monday at James' effort the previous day in Indiana, when the NBA's reigning MVP had 40 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists — "video game-like," was how Wade described it — to help his team knot its East series with the Pacers at two games apiece. Game 5 is Tuesday night in Miami, and the Heat know they probably can't expect James to fill the box score that way again anytime soon.

MIAMI - Miami took a big step forward. Indiana lost two forwards. Suddenly, the road back to the Eastern Conference finals no longer looks daunting for the Heat. LeBron James scored 30 points, Dwyane Wade added 28, and the Heat moved a win away from the NBA's final four with a 115-83 victory over the hurting Pacers Tuesday night. The Heat lead the best-of-seven East semifinals, 3-2, with Game 6 in Indiana Thursday night. "This is our challenge right now, to leave it behind us," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.

Dwyane Wade lashed out in frustration during the worst playoff game of his career. His target wasn't wearing an Indiana uniform. Wade confronted his coach as the Miami Heat melted. The star had an animated exchange with Erik Spoelstra on the sideline in the third quarter, a disturbing low point on a night when nothing went Miami's way, and the Heat were throttled 94-75 by the Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Indiana center Roy Hibbert had 19 points and 18 rebounds, George Hill scored 20 and Danny Granger 17 as Indiana,...

LeBron James grabbed a seat on Miami's bench, lowered his head, and stared down at the floor. Way down. The Heat are in a hole. Roy Hibbert had 19 points and 18 rebounds, George Hill scored 20, and Danny Granger 17 as the Pacers, showing more balance, toughness, and togetherness than Miami, throttled the malfunctioning Heat, 94-75, Thursday night in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Indianapolis. Overlooked during the regular season and given little chance to upset the reigning East champions, the Pacers took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven...

Drops of blood stained the carpet leading up to the back entrance of the New York Knicks' locker room. The glass portion of a nearby fire-extinguisher case was quickly replaced. And Amare Stoudemire needed doctors and paramedics to treat a postgame cut on his left hand. Game 2 probably wasn't all the Knicks lost in Miami on Monday night. Stoudemire left the building with a bulky wrap over his left hand, long after the Heat took control of the teams' Eastern Conference first-round series with a 104-94 win over the Knicks, going up 2-0 in the matchup.

He's just hoping New York can extend the series against Miami so the teams keep beating up on each other in a series the Heat lead 3-1.
