Jarome Iginla scored his team-leading 26th and 27th goals and the Calgary Flames earned a 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night. Iginla's second goal of the night with 1:18 left in the second period gave Calgary a 4-2 lead heading into the third period. Skating down the wing, the Flames' captain failed to get a shot away while being defended by Josh Gorges, but he carried the puck behind the Canadiens net and tucked the shot inside the near goal post before goaltender Carey Price could get across.

David Desharnais scored in regulation and in a shootout as the Montreal Canadiens pulled out a 5-4 win over the Minnesota Wild, despite blowing a three-goal lead in the third period Thursday night. The Wild trailed 4-1 going into the final four minutes of regulation and scored three times. Matt Kassian got his second of the game, and Dany Heatley scored before Devin Setoguchi tied it with the Wild playing with six attackers with 9 seconds to play. Boos poured down from the seats for a team that has blown leads repeatedly this season.

Steven Stamkos scored his NHL-leading 44th goal of the season and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the slumping Montreal Canadiens 2-1 on Tuesday night. Adam Hall also scored for the Lightning, who are 11th in the Eastern Conference and trail eighth-place Washington by five points. Mathieu Garon finished with 23 saves. Stamkos took a pass from Teddy Purcell, deked around goalie Carey Price and put the Lightning up 1-0 at 8:42 of the first period. Purcell, a game-time decision due to the flu, has 10 assists and 14 points during a career-high seven-game point streak.

Ryan Garbutt scored his first NHL goal and Kari Lehtonen made 31 saves as the Dallas Stars beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-0 on Tuesday night. Mike Ribeiro, in his regular-season return to Montreal, and Tom Wandell also scored for the Stars (30-26-4). Carey Price stopped 33 shots for the Canadiens (24-27-10), who have lost four of five after a four-game winning streak. The Stars took control in the first period, outshooting the Canadiens 15-6. The shots were 9-0 in favor of Dallas before Montreal recorded its first at 8:14.

Zach Parise, David Clarkson and Matt Taormina scored and Martin Brodeur made 21 saves to help the New Jersey Devils beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-1 on Sunday night. The Devils improved to 34-20-4 with their third straight victory and jumped past division rivals Pittsburgh and Philadelphia into fourth in the Eastern Conference. Max Pacioretty scored for Montreal. The Canadiens have lost eight straight against New Jersey at the Bell Centre. The Canadiens last beat the Devils in Montreal on March 11, 2008.

Max Pacioretty and David Desharnais scored shootout goals, and Carey Price stopped both attempts he faced in the Montreal Canadiens' 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night. Chris Campoli, Scott Gomez and Tomas Kaberle scored in regulation to help the Canadiens win their third straight road game and improve to 5-1-1 in their past seven overall. Montreal (24-25-10) also jumped out of a logjam of three teams with 56 points and alone into 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
