Kyle Visser scored 17 points and hit the clinching free throws with 10 seconds left as Wake Forest (14-15, 5-11) spoiled Virginia's chance to wrap up the Atlantic Coast Conference title outright with a 78-72 win over the Cavaliers yesterday in Winston-Salem, N.C. J.R. Reynolds was held to 11 points on 3-of-14 shooting for the Cavaliers (20-9, 11-5), who were trying to win their first outright ACC title since 1981. Ex-Celtics great Larry Bird has filed a lawsuit alleging a couple who bought his former home in southern Indiana are improperly using his name to promote a bed-and-breakfast. The lawsuit, filed in US District Court in Evansville, claims Georgianna Lincoln and Christopher Cooke did not have permission to use the Hall of Famer's name with the property and are profiting off his trademark by stating the home belonged to him. "Everybody in French Lick calls it Larry Bird's home," Cooke said.
