Developers are floating preliminary plans for a new commercial development at 626 Main St. this winter, an initial phase of a downtown development effort that has slowly been taking shape for years in this small rural town. The schematic plans, which would need special zoning approved by voters this spring to move forward, would add 25,000 square feet of commercial space to Bolton’s downtown.
