The town’s Open Space Committee is conducting an online survey to determine the needs and concerns of residents with respect to the community’s open space and recreational areas. The town will use the survey results to update its open space and recreation plan, a document required to qualify for state and federal funding for acquisition and expansion projects. The survey has 19 questions, including whether the town should expand opportunities for specific age groups, whether Marblehead has enough playgrounds and fields, and whether there are enough areas that provide access to the coastline. To complete the survey, visit the town website at marblehead.org and click on the link to the questionnaire. - Brenda Buote
