Police have arrested a man on charges of robbing a pharmacy in Vermont.
State police and the Rutland County Sheriff’s Department arrested 42-year-old Christopher McCarthy late Saturday in connection with the robbery of a West Rutland Rite Aid Pharmacy.
Police said a man who said he had a gun gave a note to the pharmacist early that day and demanded prescription drugs. An unspecified amount of medication was turned over and the man fled.
