Residents can now apply for dog licenses online via the town’s website. Licenses are $15 per dog, or $10 for dogs that are spayed or neutered, and dogs must have a current rabies vaccine in order to be registered. This year’s license tag is a green shamrock, voted on by the sixth-grade class at Freeman-Centennial School, in a tradition that Town Clerk Shawn Dooley intends to repeat annually. Dooley’s office hours are Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday by appointment. To register, visit www.virtualnorfolk.org. For more information, call the town clerk’s office at 508-528-1400. - Rachel Lebeaux
