Residents have a chance to win one of the two quilts that have been created for the town’s 300th anniversary celebrations this year. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each at the library, with proceeds going to support anniversary activities. The colorful quilts, which are virtually identical, were created by a group of volunteers led by Deborah Wall, Pembroke’s library director, and depict Pembroke landmarks. The one that is not raffled will be displayed in the library. For more information on the quilts and the celebrations, visit www.Pembroke300.com. - John Laidler
