Free grant-writing workshops

Northern Essex Community College is hosting free workshops for area nonprofits interested in building resources through grant writing. The sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon on three Fridays - March 23, April 13, and April 27 - at the college’s Louise Haff-ner Fournier Education Center, 78-82 Amesbury St. Topics include Introduction to Grants Research, Introduction to Grant Writing for Beginners, and Introduction to Grant Writing II for Beginners. The workshops are funded by the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, and are presented in conjunction with the Associated Grant Makers of Massachusetts and Jericho Road Lawrence.
