The Board of Selectmen is completing an initial phase in the search for a new town manager. Selectmen held the second of two public meetings Feb. 4 to seek input from residents on the qualities they would like to see in a future manager. They have also been gathering input from department heads, according to Scott Crabtree, the board chairman. The position is vacant due to the recent retirement of Andrew Bisignani, who is now town manager in Nahant. Town counsel John Vasapolli is serving as temporary town manager. - John Laidler
