Council approves off-leash dog park

The Town Council has approved creating a dog park at Riley Field. The vote sets aside a fenced-in area roughly 200 by 75 feet on the corner of Nashua and County roads for dogs to roam unleashed. The enclosure will be divided into areas for small and large canines. The council also authorized the Friends of Bedford Canine Corner to raise funds to build and maintain the park.
