So now we know how much money it takes in Plymouth to throw ethics, morality, and fairness out the window. It takes $5,000, the amount of the bid accepted by the town to run a farmers market on the exact days and times of the Plymouth farmers market created and lovingly nurtured by Barbara Anglin for the last eight years. To say I’m disgusted with this decision cannot begin to express my feelings. I started attending the Plymouth farmers market in 2010, and I felt welcomed and nurtured from the very first visit. Anglin’s hospitality is an intangible that can’t be quantified, but it made a real difference in how I felt about the market.
