Small-batch bonbons at Vianne Chocolat

Boston chocolatier Vianne Chocolat partnered with local artist Katherine Downey Miller to offer a selection of small-batch bonbons in handmade wood boxes ($40 for 10 pieces, $53 for 20). Each box is inlaid with an original encaustic painting and signed by the artist. Valentine’s Day flavors include cinnamon (a nod to candy hearts), saffron and honey (saffron is thought to be an aphrodisiac), and rose caramel (in lieu of a bouquet), along with other infusions of herbs, spices, liqueurs, and fruits.
