Two dolphins were rescued after stranding themselves on a beach opposite Duck Creek in Wellfleet yesterday, officials said. The dolphins, a male and a female, were rescued by members of the International Fund for Animal Welfare, and were released from Herring Cove in Provincetown last night, said Michael Booth, spokesman for the group. A satellite tag was attached to one of the dolphins to track its behavior. Since Jan. 12, 118 common dolphins have become stranded on Cape Cod beaches.
