Man arrested after fatal shooting

A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Central Falls apartment yesterday. Police responded to a report of gunshots about 11 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. They did not release the dead man’s name, pending notification of his family. Curtis Taylor, who was renting the apartment, was brought in for questioning and later charged with conspiracy to commit murder; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; carrying a pistol without a permit; and possession of cocaine.
