Dogfish Head founder goes to Harvard

Dogfish Head founder and president Sam Calagione will be at Harvard tomorrow (Thursday) for a seminar called "Man and Microbe: Exotic Ales Since the Birth of Civilization." The event, sponsored by the Microbial Sciences Inititiative at Harvard, includes a beer tasting. It starts at 5 p.m. in Geological Museum Room 100 (24 Oxford St.). The seminar is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. I'm told there are still a few left. Call 617-496-2222.
