No smoke detectors found at fatal fire

WOODSVILLE, N.H.

New Hampshire fire officials say they found no smoke detectors in the Woodsville house where a resident died in a fire. Investigators say the fire appears to have started inside a space between the first and second floors of the home. The victim was found on the second floor. A neighbor walking near the home reported fire coming from it shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday. State and local fire officials have not yet released the victim’s identity. (AP)
