Quincy Community Action Programs is seeking volunteers to help with daily operations at its Emergency Food Center, including unloading delivery trucks, stocking shelves, and preparing food orders for its clients. The organization, at 1 Copeland St., is also looking for volunteers who can welcome clients and help with data entry. The agency serves thousands of Quincy residents who are in need of assistance, employees said. Volunteers are asked to make commitments of four hours at a time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on a weekly or monthly basis.
