The New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game is raising money to help study Canada lynx, the endangered animal that has been found in the state in greater numbers over the last decade.
The recent sightings include last month’s discovery of four lynx kittens in northern New Hampshire.
The fundraising project will help develop a conservation plan, document their presence in the state and find the best lynx habitat.
Canada lynx are considered endangered by the state of New Hampshire. The species is on the federal “threatened’’ list.
