NH parks council meeting in Hampton

The New Hampshire parks advisory council will discuss the park system’s performance at its meeting this week.

The council is meeting Friday at Hampton Beach State Park to discuss the 2011 season and to receive a report from a sub-committee on legislation. Members also plan to discuss how others can help the parks system.

The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation manages 92 properties, including state parks, beaches, campgrounds, historic sites, trails, waysides and natural areas.
