Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy says he’ll be in charge of the cooking for his family’s Thanksgiving dinner, being held for the first time at the official residence in Hartford.
The freshman governor told reporters on Tuesday that he’s planning to cook a “traditional’’ meal with a large turkey and a couple of turkey breasts. For the record, Malloy, an avid cook, does not brine his turkey to make sure it’s juicy. Rather, he recommends cooking at a low temperature.
