A Norwalk man accused of beating his infant daughter to death has been ordered to remain on $750,000 bond following his arraignment on charges of manslaughter, assault and risk of injury to a minor.
The Hour of Norwalk reports ( http://bit.ly/v7paFc) that the lawyer for 28-year-old Justin Smith said his client has no previous criminal record and the incident was at worst, an accident. He called it a “very, very difficult situation.’
Smith was arraigned Monday in Norwalk Superior Court.
