Decisions, decisions. Do you make your loved one’s holiday dreams come true by picking up that $700 “Law & Order’’ complete series set, or the $1,000 “Scarface’’ Blu-ray in the custom humidor? Or maybe, like us, your gift-giving budget runs closer to Bob Cratchit’s - in which case, consider these titles.

FAVORITES/CLASSICS/ETC.

HARRY POTTER: THE COMPLETE 8-FILM COLLECTION Finally, the comprehensive set that Potterheads have been waiting for, from “Sorcerer’s Stone’’ to “Deathly Hallows - Part 2.’’ The latter is also newly available separately, for those who’ve been picking up the discs all along. (Warner, $98.92; Blu-ray, $139.99)

JURASSIC PARK ULTIMATE TRILOGY GIFT SET Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton’s dinos thunder onto Blu-ray, complete with miniature T-rex statue. If you like ooh-eliciting fancy packaging - and who doesn’t? - also check out gift sets for the “Cars’’ movies (Matchbox-size toy included), and the “Pirates of the Caribbean’’ series (buried in a treasure chest, naturally). (“Jurassic,’’ Universal, $119.98)

THE HANGOVER PART II The Wolfpack does Bangkok. We’d give more details, but they’re fuzzy.

(Warner, $28.98; Blu-ray, $35.99; Dec. 6)

THE HELP The film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s maids-and-belles bestseller arrives on disc. Mentally consulting the holiday list: wife, check; mom, check; sister, check. (Disney, $29.99; Blu-ray, $39.99)

WEST SIDE STORY 50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION Sharks and Jets rumble in hi-def as the musical classic gets a lavishly packaged reissue on Blu-ray. (Fox, $69.99)

BEN-HUR ULTIMATE COLLECTOR’S EDITION Charlton Heston’s biblical tale gets suitably epic treatment in its Blu-ray debut, from ultra-high-definition 8K resolution to a full reproduction of the star’s revealing production diary. (Warner, $64.99)

LAUREL & HARDY: THE ESSENTIAL COLLECTION Well, here’s a fine mess of viewing: The iconic comedy duo is saluted with a survey of 58 talking shorts and features made for producer Hal Roach. (Vivendi, $99.98)

TOM CRUISE BLU-RAY COLLECTION A “Mission: Impossible’’ set might have been the obvious choice to gear up for “MI4,’’ but so what when you’re getting a sampler that includes “Top Gun,’’ “War of the Worlds,’’ “Minority Report,’’ and “Collateral’’? (Consider “Days of Thunder’’ a bonus. Or not.) (Paramount, $39.99)

TELEVISION

SMALLVILLE: THE COMPLETE SERIES “Captain America’’ and “Thor’’ might be obvious superhero picks this season, but don’t forget Tom Welling’s newly boxed TV adventures as Superboy Unplugged. Cool revisionism, particularly in the early going. (Warner, $339.88; Nov. 29)
