Division 1A Jonathan DiBiaso, Everett – DiBiaso threw for just 182 yards Saturday, but his four touchdowns were instrumental in helping Everett beat Barnstable, 34-21. The senior’s four scores outmatched D.J. Crook and the two are tied at 74 career touchdowns.
Nick Schlatz, Bridgewater-Raynham – Schlatz helped B-R jump out to a quick 14-0 lead over New Bedford, but the Whalers tied the game in the third quarter. Schlatz rushed for a 10-yard in the fourth quarter to give No. 13 B-R a 20-14 win over No. 16 New Bedford. The senior quarterback also had a passing touchdown.
O’Shane McCreath, Malden - In a 33-13 win over Bedford, McCreath totaled more than 400 yards between running, receiving, punt and kickoff returns. It included a 93-yard punt return for a TD, a 41-yard TD reception, and a 70-yard scoring run. He had nine carries for 113 yards and 3 catches for 75 yards.
Division 2 Charles Ruffin, King Philip - Even though the Warriors’ comeback against Mansfield on Friday came up short, Ruffin was a big reason they came as close as they did. Ruffin scored with 44 seconds remaining to give King Philip a chance to tie with an extra-point or win with a two-point conversion (they did neither). On the Warriors’ first play from scrimmage, Ruffin exploded up the middle for a 61-yard touchdown, and also had a 10-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. He finished with 156 yards on 21 carries.
Chris Bettano/Kevin Saunders, Tewksbury - Bettano rushed rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown for the Redmen Saturday. QB/DB Saunders threw a touchdown on offense and had an interception on defense to lift Tewksbury over Central Catholic.
Division 2A Michael Walsh, Swampscott - In a 33-19 victory over North Shore rival Lynn English, Walsh went 17 of 28 passing for 228 yards and three touchdowns to help the Big Blue remain undefeated.
Mikyle Hill, Dedham - The senior running back scored three touchdowns - two on 43-yard rushes, one a 50-yard reception - in a 21-6 win over Medford.
Division 3 Kiivon Howard, Foxboro - The junior ran for 200 yards on 14 carries with touchdown runs of 70, 42, and 6 in a 35-19 win over Canton.
