One of the big Boston Fashion Week events on Sunday night doubled as a benefit for FACE Africa, the same local nonprofit that brought celebs such as Whitney Port and Marcus Samuelsson to town in March. FACE Africa do-gooder Saran Kaba Jones, whose organization works to get clean drinking water for people in Liberia, teamed up with her designer friend Prajje Jean-Baptiste, of Prajje 1983, to put on a runway of looks inspired by Jean-Baptiste’s childhood in Haiti. Prajje and the FACE Africa group moved on to party at a reception at the Charlesmark on Boylston.
