The Boston Film Festival handed out some awards last night, and director Aimee Lagos walked away with best film (and best director) for “96 Minutes.’’ Other winners included Brittany Snow for best actress for “96 Minutes’’; Eric Schaeffer for best actor for “After Fall, Winter’’; Ruaridh Arrow, whose “How to Start a Revolution’’ won for best documentary; and Mike O’Malley, whose script for “Certainty’’ was named best screenplay.
