SBLI Insurance boss Bob Sheridan broke down as he walked the aisle with his daughter, Amy, who married film and television composer Tim Ziesmer on Saturday night. Tim is the son of Jerry Ziesmer, who had small roles in “Apocalypse Now,’’ “Say Anything,’’ and “Jerry Maguire,’’ and was an assistant director of films such as “Some Kind of Wonderful,’’ “Scarface,’’ and “Singles.’’ More than 150 guests attended the wedding, which took place at the Wequassett Resort on the border of Chatham and East Harwich. Amy and Tim’s guests included Entercom exec Julie Kahn and former Boston Magazine editor Dan Scully, Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe, UMass chief operating officer Jim Julian, former banking commissioner Gerry Mulligan, and Judge Brian Merrick, who presided over the ceremony and attended with his wife, Rebecca Pierce-Merrick, founder and curator of the John F. Kennedy Museum in Hyannis. Amy’s dress is by Vera Wang and her veil was originally worn by her mother, Jean, on her wedding day.
