The 17th annual DoggiePawLooza and Benefit Walk for Animals, organized by the Standish Humane Society, is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 18 at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham.

There will be activities for dogs and their owners, including contests, agility and training demonstrations by Terry Haskins of the Dog Butler, and animal behavior advice by Kathryn Wrubel.

Donations will support a subsidized spay/neuter program and Standish Humane Society’s no-kill cat shelter in Duxbury. For more information, visit the society’s site at www.standishhumane.org.
