Some things old, some new What do Sherwin-Williams, Sears, and Southern Comfort have in common besides the letter ‘‘S’’? Each has used the music of Joe Pernice in its TV ads. The Massachusetts native who defected to Toronto also provided music for ‘‘Six Feet Under,’’ ‘‘The Gilmore Girls,’’ and the film ‘‘Fever Pitch.’’ Pernice is in town to perform from his catalog and preview new material from the upcoming Pernice Brothers release.
