The Revolution released 33-year-old French defender Didier Domi yesterday in a move that will clear roster and salary-cap space for upcoming transfers.
Domi, limited by injuries to nine appearances this season, has played for clubs in five countries since making his pro debut with Paris Saint-Germain in 1996.
“Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to play as much as we hoped for this year,’’ Revolution vice president of player personnel Michael Burns said. “Nothing is finalized, but we are looking to add a player and, hopefully, two players. We are in discussions and have some offers out there to bring in a couple of players.’’
