Former U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson who made a name for himself during his two years in Congress with a fiery floor speech attacking the Republican health care plan says he’s running again.
The Orlando, Fla., Democrat said of the plan in 2009: “If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: Die quickly.’’
He says he filed paperwork with the state Monday to make another run for the U.S. House in 2012. After his single term, he was defeated in 2010 by Republican Dan Webster.
