Milton Hospital receives top honors for advertising campaigns

The New England Society for Healthcare Communications recognized Milton Hospital’s advertising campaigns with top honors at a recent awards ceremony.

The society's Lamplighter Awards honor communications excellence in New England, with the “Best of New England Award” going to The Bennett Group for Milton Hospital’s emergency room direct mail campaign.

The Bennett Group, of Framingham, is the hospital’s creative agency of record.

“This campaign combined compelling and memorable graphics and execution of creative that achieved the stated objectives with measurable and impressive results,” said awards judge Adrienne Foley, of Foley Outsource in St. Paul, Minn.

The competition included more than 340 entries from more than 85 organizations, according to a press release.

The hospital was also recognized for other awards during the ceremony:

  • “Award of Excellence for Patient Satisfaction for Outdoor Advertising.”
  • “Award of Excellence for Quality Satisfaction Campaign” for print advertising campaign.
  • “Award of Excellence for Self Exam Campaign” for a television advertising campaign.
  • “Gold Award for ER Campaign” for a direct mail publication.
  • “Silver Award for The Not so Trivial Pursuit Game” for physician relations.
  • “Silver Award for Quality Satisfaction Campaign” for publications.

The hospital was also honored at the 28th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report. About 4,800 entries were received nationally for the competition, and The Bennett Group received four awards for Milton Hospital campaigns, according to a press release.

The awards included a gold award for physician referral marketing “The Not So Trivial Pursuit Game” campaign; a merit award for a direct mail emergency room campaign; a merit award for an outdoor advertising “Patient Satisfaction/Top Shelf ER Care” campaign; and a merit award for television advertising “ER double vision.”

“These awards are a direct result of our marketing staff’s long-term commitment to the ’Milton Hospital Journey to Excellence’,” said Milton Hospital president Joseph Morrissey in a press release. “We pride ourselves on delivering timely and informative healthcare information to the community, and these awards recognize the hard work of the Milton Hospital marketing team.”
