Son of MLB legend Roberto Clemente to speak at Roxbury health summit

Roberto Clemente, Jr.Photo.jpg (Courtesy: Whittier Street Health Center)Roberto Clemente Jr. Roberto Clemente Jr., the eldest son of baseball legend Roberto Clemente and founder of the Reviving Baseball in the Inner-Cities Program (RBI) in Puerto Rico, will be the keynote speaker at Whittier Street Health Center’s June 11 Men’s Health Summit at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Roxbury. Clemente Jr.’s father was a Pittsburgh Pirates legend and was the first Latin American player to record 3,000 hits. He later entered the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame.
