The Salem Theatre Company announced today that Lisa and Bob Parsons of Marblehead are the lucky winners of the STC’s Gala London Theatre Trip raffle. The Parsons’ winning ticket was drawn from all of the entries by Executive Director Gary LaParl on Saturday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m. at the STC Theater at 90 Lafayette Street in downtown Salem.
“Our first-ever raffle was a great success, helping us raise much needed funds to support our efforts to enrich the artistic, cultural, and economic life of the Greater Salem region. We congratulate Lisa and Bob Parsons for their winning entry, and thank everyone who bought a ticket,” said Gary LaParl. Tickets sold for $100 each. The Parsons will have up to one year to embark on a theatre lover’s dream trip to London for two, including roundtrip airfare, 3 nights accommodations, two theatre tickets to two different performances of their choosing, and $500 to cover meals and other expenses.

“While the raffle was certainly a boost to our bottom line, we are a non-for-profit organization and urge theatre lovers everywhere to help us raise the funds we need to meet our operating expenses and prepare for our upcoming Season Nine,” explained STC Artistic Director John Fogle.
