Villanova 30, Delaware 12 - Chris Whitney rushed for a touchdown and amassed 206 yards of offense to lead the second-ranked Wildcats at home.
Whitney rushed for 138 yards, including a 9-yard TD, on 15 carries. He also went 9 of 14 passing for 68 yards. Nick Yako added field goals of 32, 45, and 34 yards for Villanova (10-1, 7-1).
UNH 27, Maine 24 - Chad Kackert scored on a 5-yard run to cap a 10-point fourth quarter for the host Wildcats.
UNH (9-2, 6-2) rallied from a 17-10 halftime deficit to clinch the North Division title.
The winning score was set up by a 41-yard pass play from R.J. Toman to Joey Orlando on second and 13 from the Maine 46-yard line.
Chris Treister completed 29 of 48 passes for 303 yards and two TDs and Michael Brusko had 13 catches for 119 yards for the Black Bears (5-6, 4-4).
Hofstra 52, UMass 38 - Senior quarterback Cory Christopher capped his college career by passing for three TDs and a career-high 484 yards as the Pride (5-6, 3-5) beat the Minutemen.
The Minutemen (5-6, 3-5) got within 45-38 with 6:53 left on a 3-yard run by Tony Nelson (16 carries, 103 yards), his third touchdown. But Hofstra answered with Miguel Maysonet’s 10-yard scoring run.
Northeastern 33, URI 27 - John Griffin rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns to spark the visiting Huskies.
Griffin scored on runs of 18 and 10 yards and caught three passes for 29 yards as Northeastern (3-8, 3-5) won its final two games.
James Madison 43, Towson 12 - At Harrisonburg, Va., Justin Thorpe threw three TD passes to guide the Dukes (6-5, 4-4).
