The nature interpretation and appreciation center offers a wide variety of programs. In the summer it operates the Quinnetukut II, a 60-seat boat that cruises a spectacular stretch of the Connecticut River three times a day; $10 adults, $5 children under age 14. Call for reservations.
The Dwight Lyman Moody Birthplace
Moody Street and Highland Avenue
Built in 1823, the house features the room where Moody was born in 1837. A museum now exists in what once was the woodshed. Tours may be booked through Northfield Mount Hermon auxiliary services at 413-498-3361.
