How to get there

The lowest round-trip air fare between Boston and Philadelphia at press time was $102 on AirTran and United Airways. Between Providence and Philadelphia, the lowest fare was $49 on Southwest.
Amtrak (800-872-7245) plans to offer a fare discount on non-Acela trains along its Northeast corridor routes to Philadelphia during the show dates. A special fare code will be posted on www.philamuseum.org after Nov. 1.

The largest collection of Dali's pictures ever assembled, the show includes paintings, sculpture, works on paper, objects, and photographs from public and private collections in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. Organized by the Palazzo Grassi in Venice and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in collaboration with the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation in Figueres, Spain, the exhibition will be in Venice through Jan. 9, and in Philadelphia Feb. 16-May 15.
Tickets, which include an audio tour, are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and students, and $10 for children ages 5-12. Available by phone or online beginning Dec. 1.
